Hi I’m Brooke. The “Bee” in Southern Bee, and the sole creative soul of the company. Founded as a hobby business in 2013 from a passion for pretty things and a nostolgia for screenless ways to occupy time - Southern Bee has grown into a full-time creative studio, offering fine art custom design, calligraphy services and hands-on workshops. My favorite part of turning SBD into a career has been the chance to hear all the amazing stories behind the pieces I’m creating for my clients. To turn those stories into art, is magical! When not covered in ink, paint or chalk I’m typically found cuddling my cats, trying desperately to turn Pinterest recipes into something gourmet, or jumping on the next flight to explore the world with my handsome husband Mr. H. |
